EXPERIENCE PILLAR

Experience is the foundation of Yes Doula — It is where this journey began.

 

As a mother of three, each of my pregnancies became a classroom.  I grew.  I listened.  I learned.  Every birth was different — Good, Better, Best — and each one taught me how deeply connected I am to my body, my baby, and the birth process.  I began to trust myself more.  I could read the signs.  I knew the cues. I carried this wisdom and paired it with the doula tools I have studied and practiced, and from that, Yes Doula was born.

 

I also experienced the power of support.  My husband, my steady lay-doula, was by my side through each labor.  His presence anchored me.  I felt safe, strong, and seen.  That kind of support changed everything — and I knew that every woman deserves to feel that kind of love, security, and strength during birth.
